Title

Jeannette Bryce

Description

JEANNETTE BRYCE
APPLICANT FOR B. A. DEGREE
"How much, methinks, I could despise these men,
Were I not bound in charity against it."

JEANNETTE has the honor of being the "man-hater" of the Class of '15.
Many a trusting acquaintance has been deceived by her big blue eyes
and flashing smile into beginning a conversation, only to be coolly annihilated the
next moment. Whether this proclivity can be traced to a lack of time for such
frivolities or to the simple contempt of a higher order of being for its inferior, we do
not know, but it is there. On the other hand, Jeannette takes her studies seriously
and at great length, especially senior physics, her devotion to which is truly admirable.
On the whole, she is one of the provokingly attractive and one of the most
determined persons we have ever met, and we are sure she will make a most successful
teacher--a career to which she eagerly looks forward."
